Ever since he was a boy, Raouf had a keen interest in building and creating things with his own hands. Born in Cairo, Egypt, he traveled extensively as a child and was exposed to many cultures where skilled craftsmanship was revered. This early exposure fueled his passion for working with tools and materials to construct one-of-a-kind items.
Raouf worked as an automotive engineer and workshop manager, honing his skills by designing intricate steel structures and machinery. While rewarding, this job involved long hours in a stressful environment. To find solace, Raouf turned to woodworking as a hobby, relishing the opportunity to escape from life's pressures through creative work.
